Frédéric Baillet Bouin, graduated from the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) and Cornell Law School (New York) and, was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1998 and to the New York Bar in 2001.
Practicing for nine years first at Gide Loyrette Nouel and then at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, in New York and Paris, Frédéric Baillet Bouin has acquired wide experience in both civil and commercial litigation, cases that often required the follow-up of procedures pending before foreign courts.
Frédéric Baillet Bouin has represented French and foreign companies, as well as international institutions, before both state courts and arbitral tribunals. More specifically, he has handled cases relating to bank guarantees, civil and criminal liability of directors and auditors, wrongful termination of contractual relationships infringement. He has also advised clients in several environmental and financial procedures.
In addition, he has advised individuals with respect to trusts and estates disputes, including art market law.
